Victoria Irene Pencheske is a faceblind, newly divorced, unemployed, failure. When everything she's built is set aflame by a pair of assless chaps, Vip's three overly pushy friends send her off to Los Angeles where she has no choice but to make a deal with the devil; become a celebrity plus one for people she can't recognize and in exchange, her script will be optioned by one of the most notorious directors in Hollywood.

Roman Wheatley is a man of means and reputation. At least he was until a yacht crash, a broken engagement, and a year spent hiding from the limelight. To gain it all back he needs to give the studio one last money-making flick-no matter the cost to his ego... or his heart.
