Frequently Asked Questions
- We have physical gift cards available for purchase at all of our locations! These can be purchased in person or over the phone. Please note, gift cards can’t be mailed but we can make them available for pickup at your recipient’s preferred location.
- Yes, all Tattered Cover gift cards with a balance are accepted at our locations, no matter the time of purchase. This also includes all Tattered Cover online gift codes from our old website. Please note this does not include the airport stores.
- Tattered Cover online gift codes can be accepted at all of our locations! You can shop in-store, or set up an order over the phone for in-store pickup or to be shipped to you.
- As of early June 2025, used books are back at Aspen Grove! Please note, used book submissions can only be accepted at Aspen Grove at this time. You can read more about when submissions can be accepted, what can be accepted, etc. here.
- Yes! Submissions for the program are currently on pause, but the program will be returning. Please keep an eye on our socials and subscribe to our newsletter for updates!
- Our FOTC (Friend of Tattered Cover) rewards program is being integrated into our new system. Please keep an eye on our socials and subscribe to our newsletter for updates!
- All open orders placed on our old website are being fulfilled. We aren’t able to send any automated email communication for these particular orders, including tracking information. Please reach out if you would like to request that information, and we will be able to help you out. Otherwise, keep an eye out for a package when your pre-ordered book is releasing!
- While we continue to work on getting this function on our new website, we’re happy to place your order over the phone or in-person! You can call or visit any of our locations to set up an order for in-store pickup or delivery directly to you.
- We will send you an email and/or give you a call when your order is ready. We can’t guarantee pick-up orders will be available immediately or same day, but we will process your order as soon as we can. Please wait for confirmation your order is ready to be picked up before coming into the store.
- At this time, used books and bargain books can only be purchased in store.
