This is a new book club as of January 2024. Hosted by the Aspen Grove Center and focusing on books helping shape the public conversation around literature in the public discourse, it will rotate where it meets among different locations in the mall. You can expect some of the splashiest titles to show up here, as well as some sleeper hits and obscure titles that are truly deserving of your eyeballs.

Covers everything touching on the science fiction and fantasy spectrum. We read hardcover and softcover books, hard and soft science fiction, high and low fantasy, classics, and fresh releases. Once a month, we connect and discuss the story, writing, characters, and what we loved and/or hated about the book! Our picks are chosen democratically by vote within the group. TC Lit Club is our new book club at Colfax! We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month and we read fiction published within the last 75 years (including literary, contemporary, historical, and speculative fiction). The book discussion begins at 6:00 pm, but please feel free to arrive around 5:30 pm to socialize; during this time, TC Lit Club members can receive a 15% discount on purchases made at our Tattered Cover Café. Also, TC Lit Club members can receive a 15% discount on the books we select for our reading list.
