Dave Abeles is back for his second book, again sharing his working knowledge of the prototype. This time he'll be helping modelers understand how railroad yards work and how that can be applied to a model railroad. Featuring examples from Dave's own Onondaga Cutoff model railroad as well as well-known layouts of friends and colleagues such as Tony Koester and Bill Darnaby. Intermediate to advanced modelers, as well as some railroad enthusiasts, will enjoy the detailed description of the different types of yards and how they operated both in the past and the present.
