This is the second book in the Bentley book series. This book was originally published in 2021 under the title Bentley Gets Lost. In 2023 I decided to revise the story and the illustrations to relaunch the book to a new generation of readers under the title A Day at the Lake.
In this story, Bentley and Hachi spend a day at the lake. Bentley gets lost and can't find his way back to the parking lot. Some friendly animals try to help him, but he is rude to them and refuses to accept their help because they are not dogs. Bentley later reunite with Hachi and learns a valuable lesson on how to treat others that are different than him.
