The Crystal Veil

The Crystal veil follows the story of Elysia, a young guard recently graduated from the training academy in her home country of Sicarro. An oasis hidden away in the sparse dessert that surrounds it. She's thrown into an unfamiliar environment when her actions result in the saving of the princess late one night and now she has to navigate the twists and turns of castle life. With a sarcastic prince who seems to bug her at every corner, and an underlying threat that she has yet to realize.
This book is a journey of finding yourself in a new environment, learning to lean on those around you when you need someone to confide in even if it's hard.
