Based on real events, the characters in this novel, including well known sports and Olympic heroes, are fictional, including the participants of the 4x100 meter Olympic team, those who ran for the American squad, in Berlin, August, 1936, or those whom did not compete because they were Jewish. This novel Olympia 1936 may be read first because it doesn't deviate from the author's intent by speculation about what happened to a forgotten Olympian.in the trilogy that was created by time and the changing hands of historical perspective. Fiction and reality is still blurred. Joshua still races. He wants to deck Hitler and deliver a powerful blow for the Jewish race. Speed is always an intoxicant as a passionate soul often fuels the American dream. The quest is endless for justice, but betrayal doesn't have a happy ending.  This project wants the reader to feel the outrage and to condemn race hatred and anti-Semitism by its often surprising, American roots.
