Prison Doctor: Avenger of Blood

Everyone at Thornton State Prison has a secret.

From the outside, Thornton State Prison looks like the future of incarceration. Warden Black carefully monitors all the prisoners to discover who can be rehabilitated and returned to society. He runs the prison so well that even the Department of Defense sends their best and brightest there to train in the real world. On top of that, the prison features a state-of-the-art urgent care facility, run by a team of caring and talented nurses and doctors.

But the prison is concealing a web of rivalries and ulterior motives. Behind the scenes, a mysterious prisoner known only as The Book pulls the strings of everyone involved. Enter Dr. James Johnson, a talented and compassionate cardiothoracic surgeon. At first glance, he appears to be another man dedicated to making a difference. But James has secrets too, and his own reasons for seeking out the prison.

As the warden introduces him to his new home, James exhales and begins to embrace who he has become and what he has come to do. There is no turning back, for "by all rights, both heavenly and earthly, I am the avenger of blood, and I claim that right on this night."
