Todos somos la residencia Kawai... Usa Kazunari es un estudiante de instituto que se ve obligado a independizarse cuando sus padres tienen que mudarse por trabajo. Su nueva residencia es en el edificio Kawai, regentado por la amable (aunque algo aterradora) Sumiko. En la residencia, Usa pronto descubre que está rodeado de estudiantes excéntricos y pervertidos. También vive allí Ritsu Kawai, de quien se enamora a primera vista y que resulta ser pariente de Sumiko. Rodeado de toda esta gente tan peculiar, Usa no se aburrirá en ningún momento. La vida de Usa nunca es aburrida en la residencia Kawai.

Usa Kazunari is a high school student who is forced to become independent when his parents have to move for work. His new residence is in the Kawai building, run by the kind (if somewhat frightening) Sumiko. At the dorm, Usa soon discovers that he is surrounded by eccentric and perverted students. Also living there is Ritsu Kawai, with whom he falls in love at first sight and who happens to be Sumiko's relative. Surrounded by all these peculiar people, Usa will never get bored.
