1937: Eighteen-year-old Alix St. Pierre doesn't have a dime to her name, but she dreams of conquering Paris. 1943: Alix is now refined, independent, and audacious. As an expert in public relations in New York, she has launched numerous publicity campaigns for high fashion. Meanwhile, a new intelligence organization of the U.S. government needs spies to put an end to Hitler. Alix fits the criteria and is sent to Switzerland on a secret mission. 1946: The war is over. Alix returns to Paris and lands a job with Christian Dior right before the release of the New Look. A war criminal reappears in her life and threatens to destroy her promising future.
