Formed in the creative maelstrom of late 1970’s New York by Ohio natives Lux Interior (Erick Purkhiser) and Poison Ivy Rorschach (Kirsty Wallace), the Cramps not only originated the psychobilly subgenre but also left behind an unsurpassable legacy of blisteringly good, primal rock’n’roll. Journey to the Centre of the Cramps represents the definitive work on the group.
