Finding Her

As I read Finding Her, I ache for the woman in this epistolary collection, and for myself: a woman also on this mending journey: trusting the psyche and belly of my forties, "not pregnant and not even almost flat," to be enough. Through meticulously relayed moments of real life-yoga pants and gym glitz, eradication of time barriers synchronizing what was and what is, Kristie Williams narrates the way we hold all the identities we've worn. Kristie L. Williams' debut chapbook Finding Her is an ambitious collection.
