2026 Travel Posters Wall Calendar

The early 1920s ushered in the “Golden Age of Travel,” when a newly mobile leisure class began to avail itself of modern transportation. New technology offered levels of speed, comfort, and safety previously unattainable—from train to sea to air travel. Airlines, steamship companies, railroads, travel bureaus, cities, and nations hired the best graphic artists and design firms of the day to create seductive, modern poster designs to promote tourism and to bring distant glamorous destinations into people’s offices and homes.
