The Angels Among Us: How God's Messengers Play a Role in Healing

God’s messengers are walking among us. They are closer than you think.

As soon as Dr. Marc Siegel’s The Miracles Among Us became an instant #1 bestseller, people started coming to him with stories of divine intervention in their lives. He realized how many of these stories revolved around the sudden and providential appearance of just the right person or being at the right time.

In The Angels Among Us, Dr. Siegel shares riveting accounts of people who found themselves at a crossroads, only to be redirected by a person—or an angelic presence—sent exactly when hope was fading. These narratives suggest that the coincidences we experience are often the hand of God working through others to pull us back from the edge.

There is no witness more convincing than a doctor who, having exhausted every clinical explanation, finds that the only remaining truth is the hand of the divine. From a lone physician fighting a deadly high-seas virus outbreak on a stranded cruise ship to a missionary surgeon performing life-saving miracles in a bare-bones Kenyan clinic to two broken men discovering a “kinship of suffering” that would birth Alcoholics Anonymous—these extraordinary true stories reveal how God’s grace works through ordinary human hands.

The Angels Among Us is a testament to the belief that, whether through a stranger’s kindness or an inexplicable phenomenon, the Lord provides the path we need to find our way home to Him.
