The Light in the Mist is an adventure game in the form of a tarot deck that weaves together hours of gorgeous artwork, resonant storytelling, and unparalleled puzzle gameplay. Solve a unique variety of puzzles and lose yourself in a character-driven story experience told through the memories of your missing friend.

• HOURS OF SOLO OR CO-OP PLAY: Use the tarot deck to manipulate cards, find hidden messages, and solve logic and word problems in order to uncover the deck’s secrets. Each of the 22 Major Arcana cards in the tarot deck contains a puzzle that can be solved using additional cards from the deck. The varied puzzle difficulty will engage players of all experience levels.
• POIGNANT COMING-OF-AGE STORY: When your friend’s mysterious disappearance results in the discovery of an unusual item, you suddenly find yourself embarking on a journey through time and memory. Each solved puzzle unlocks another emotional piece of the narrative.
• UNIQUE NON-LINEAR FORMAT: Aside from the first and last puzzle, the challenges can be completed in any order, facilitating choose-your-own-path style gameplay. This means each group’s experience of the game is one-of-a-kind. If you’re ever stuck on a puzzle, just come back to it later with fresh eyes and try a new card instead. You can also make use of the comprehensive online hint system at any time.
• AUTHENTIC TAROT DECK: The Light in the Mist is both a narrative adventure game and a functional tarot deck, though no knowledge of tarot is required to play. Once you’ve solved the puzzles and completed the story, you can continue your tarot exploration with a “Reading the Tarot” section in the back of the story booklet.
