We are still waiting on a few items to bring Used Book Program back to Colfax, but right now, you can visit Aspen Grove and both turn in your gently used books for in-store credit and/or purchase affordable used books.

The details of this new and re-established program are as follows (please be sure to read carefully and closely as several details have changed from how we used to accept used books):

• Thursday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Friday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Saturday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Sunday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Monday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

• Cloth hard covers without dust jacket
• Dated material (computer guides, travel guides, almanacs, etc.)
• Excessively worn condition (torn, moldy, water damaged, yellowed, broken spins, etc.)
• Underlined, highlighted, or personalized books
• Textbooks, large sets (encyclopedias, complete series)
• Book editions exclusive to other retailers (e.g. Target exclusive, Scholastic Book Club editions)
• Self-published books, print on demand books, ex-library books, magazines

• Please call our store ahead of time (303.470.7050) to set up an appointment
• For your appointment, please bring your ID and your books into the store during your set appointment time
• You will meet with our used book buyer, who will count your books and fill out some paperwork for your submission
• You will then be asked to wait 15 minutes or so while our buyer makes their decisions and returns to present you with a non-negotiable offer
• If you choose to accept the offer, you will be issued a Used Book Voucher which you can take to our registers to be converted to a gift certificate for the voucher amount
• Vouchers are good only for the day they are issued, so be sure to go directly to the register to obtain your Gift Certificate!
