This event includes a signed hardcover copy of the book, an opportunity to participate in an audience Q&A, and hear from Colorado’s very own, Rebecca Yarros!
Join us at the beautiful Buell Theatre in the Denver Performing Arts Complex for the most incredible release party of your life!
Below are FAQs for this event—please read through them thoroughly before calling our stores, as most questions will be answered here!
1. Will Rebecca be there?
YES! This is an author event so Rebecca will be speaking with a conversation partner on stage and answering audience questions ahead of time!
2. What does a ticket get me?
A signed copy of the book, entry into the event, and a reserved seat.
3. When do tickets go on sale?
September 8th at 10:00 AM MST. You can purchase tickets on the Buell website or our events page which will route you to the correct ticket site. All questions about tickets should go to the Buell Theatre at the Denver Center of Performing Arts Box Office at 303.893.4100.
4. Is Rebecca signing books and meeting people?
She is not doing a signing line during the event. Your book will be pre-signed. She is not doing a meet & greet or photo opp.
5. What time can I get there?
As early as you like! Doors open at 6:00 PM!
6. What is the location of the event?
TEMPLE HOYNE BUELL THEATRE: 1350 Curtis Street, Denver, CO 80202.
7. What time do I get the book?
10:01 PM (on your way out of the theater).
8. Can I bring service animals or extra people?
Service animals are welcome, but every person has to have a ticket to enter.
9. Where do I park?
The Denver Performing Arts Complex Garage at 14th & Arapaho will be your best option for paid parking.
10. Can I buy extra books?
Additional copies of Threshing Day will not be available, but we will have copies of her other books for sale.
11. How many tickets can I get? Why is there a limit?
There is a limit of 2 tickets per purchase to try and try and limit price gouging and reselling. There is no sanctioned reselling of tickets to this event; we have no control over reselling and are unable to pursue scammers.
12. Will we receive the special edition, sprayed edges version of Threshing Day?
YES!
13. Are tickets GA or are we able to select our seats?
You can select your own seats! This is not a GA event; however, please note all tickets will be $49.99 regardless of the location of your seat(s).
14. Can I purchase a ticket even if I don't plan on attending so I can get a signed book?
We aren't going to be shipping out books that aren't picked up at the event, but we do anticipate having a limited quantity of signed copies that we will use to fulfill pre-orders. Signed copies will be allocated in the order pre-orders were received, with prioritization going from earliest to latest. These signed copies will only be at our Colfax location, so you will need to order with them. You can do so by calling 303-322-7727.
Out of respect to Rebecca Yarros and event attendees, please do not purchase a ticket unless you plan on actually attending the event.
