The Office of Research Education at the CU School of Medicine continues its partnership with the Tattered Cover by launching the 2025 bi-monthly series of talks about relevant biomedical research topics.
On January 21, 2025 (6:00 pm), Michael McMurray (Associate Professor, Cell & Developmental Biology Department) and Alya Hussain (PhD candidate, Structural Biology, Biochemistry & Biophysics Program) will discuss research and new ideas into novel ways to learn about climate change.
The presentation will lead the audience through the diverse ways wild yeast populating Colorado cacti adapt to changing habitats, and basic research using a diversity of methods is able to monitor and record these adaptations.
