The Office of Research Education at the CU School of Medicine continues its partnership with the Tattered Cover Book Store on March 25, 2026, with a presentation entitled "What fainting goats, spicy salsa, and heartbeats have in common: A story of your body's electricity."
Leading the evening are Danielle Heebner (PhD candidate) and Dr. Ana Fernandez-Mariño, who are both members of the Pharmacology PhD program. You are electricity! Join us to learn more about your body's natural, cellular electricity that powers and enriches our lives. We’ll explore these ideas through fun stories and demonstrate how curiosity-driven science can lead to discoveries that help battle disease.
The event will occur at the store at 2526 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, starting at 6 pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
