Dear Ernest Hemingway: I like your writing. It's good. I like it in the way I like a good steak after a boxing match. I like it in the way I like bacon and eggs on a fine Sunday morning. I like it in the way I like a freezing cold trout stream on the first day of spring. I like it in the way I like a tall mixed drink just after midnight. I like it in the way I like my dames: salty and true. I like it in the way I like my bullfighters: dark and loose-hipped. I like it in the way I like my wars: frenetic and audacious. I like your writing. I like it a lot.
