Local Author, Denny Dressman, Publishes New Book: Game 163

With our new location at McGregor square across from Coors Field in the works, we are looking forward to another season of baseball in Denver with a book for diehard Rockies Fans!

We are thrilled to have veteren sports page editor Denny Dressman's new book Game 163 at the Tattered Cover Dressman's book takes a very in-depth look at the fateful game against the Padres in 2007 that brought in 'Rocktober' and started a run that took the Rockies to their first World Series.  The book is packed with amazing interviews from those who were there and follows the all the twists and turns that made the game a classic for the ages.

Patrick Saunders at the Denver Post writes: "Dressman covers all the bases and deftly mixes anecdotes with backstories as he chronicles the game.  There is a chapter on pitcher Josh Fogg, "The Dragon Slayer" who started Game 163.  How could there not be?"  Read the full Denver Post article here: Saunders: Denver’s Denny Dressman writes enthralling account of “Game 163”
