Tattered Cover is pleased to welcome three amazing writers to get young readers into a spooky mood! Please join us as we welcome Fleur Bradley, Rich Moyer, and Lija Fisher to our Colfax location on Friday, October 14th at 6pm. They will read from, discuss, answer questions, and sign their books! This is free and open to the public!
ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Fleur Bradley is an active member of SCBWI and MWA, where she has judged for the Edgars. She regularly does school and Skype visits, as well as librarian and educator conference talks on reaching reluctant readers. Originally from the Netherlands, she now lives in Colorado, not too far from the historic (and haunted) Stanley Hotel, which partly inspired this manuscript.
Rich Moyer specializes in the offbeat and irreverent as a syndicated cartoonist and an award-winning animator. He lives in Denver with his wife, Autumn, and daughters, Cleo and Juno. Ham Helsing is his debut graphic novel.
Lija Fisher was born in Istanbul, Turkey and raised at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. She graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a BFA in Performance Studies and has performed in regional theatres across New York, Florida, Alaska and Colorado. In 2017 she was a Writer in Residence with Aspen Words. Lija has lived in London, LA and NYC but now calls Colorado home. The Cryptid Catcher is her first novel.
