This month we’ll see the 1962 Roman Polanski classic Knife in the Water/ Nóz w wodzie.
A middle-aged couple who are not getting along well, pick up a hitchhiker and then invite the young man to join them on their boat. It’s all unsettling from the start, and even in his first feature, Polanski has a feel for danger as it grows incrementally from something smallish, to something much bigger. (94 minutes)
