This month we’ll see the 1975 Albert and David Maysles, Ellen Hovde, and Muffie Meyer classic Grey Gardens .
One of the greatest and most perplexing observational documentaries. Mother and daughter Big Edie and Little Edie Bouvier Beale live together in a rotting mansion in the Hamptons. They happen to be the aunt and cousin of Jaqueline Kennedy, and their encounter with this group of filmmakers is entrancing, infuriating and a remarkable exercise in humanity. (95 minutes)
