Tattered Cover is pleased to present Becky Clark, Cynthia Kuhn, Kate Lansing, and Barbara Nickless for a virtual conversation on Wednesday, January 29th at 6pm MT. They will be discussing everything from cozy mysteries to crime thrillers.
About the Guests:
Award-winning author Becky Clark is the seventh of eight kids, which explains both her insatiable need for attention and her atrocious table manners. She likes to read funny books so it felt natural to write them too. She surrounds herself with quirky people and pets who end up as characters in her novels. Readers say her books are “fast and thoroughly entertaining” with “witty humor and tight writing” and “humor laced with engaging characters” so you should “grab a cocktail and enjoy the ride.” She writes the Dunne Diehl novels, the Mystery Writer’s Mysteries, the Crossword Puzzle Mysteries, “Eight Weeks to a Complete Novel—Writer Faster, Write Better, Be More Organized,” and a short Christmas play. Cynthia Kuhn writes the Starlit Bookshop Mysteries and the Agatha-Award-winning Lila Maclean Academic Mysteries. Kate Lansing is the author of the Colorado Wine Mystery series with Berkley, the fourth installment of which will be out Fall 2022 and is titled Till Death Do Us Port. She lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband, daughter, and a chair-napping tabby cat named Maple.
Barbara Nickless is the Wall Street Journal and Amazon Charts bestselling author of the multi-award-winning Sydney Parnell crime novels. Her newest novel, At First Light, launches the Evan Wilding series about a forensic semiotician—a man whose gift for interpreting the words and symbols left behind by killers has led him to consult on some of the world’s grisliest cases. “This wholly realized tale is reminiscent of Lisa Gardner, Karin Slaughter, and Lisa Scottoline at their level best” (Jon Land, USA Today bestselling author). Barbara lives in Colorado at the foot of the Rocky Mountains where she loves to hike, cave, snowshoe, and drink single malt Scotch.
