Active Minds Presents Voting Rights

Join Active Minds Voting Rights on Tuesday, Oct 12 at 12:30 PM in our Colfax location to discuss Voting Rights.

Although we think of the United States as a democratic republic beginning with adoption of our Constitution in 1787, relatively few people could vote at that time.  Much of our history has featured debates about who should have a say in government policy through the exercise of the right to vote.  In recent years, the debate has focused on election integrity and the ease of access to voting.  Join Active Minds as we explore this history and set the stage for the debates over voting rights that rage in 2021 and beyond.
