Active Minds is a Colorado based provider of lifelong learning programs for seniors and adults of all ages. Our mission is to expand lives and minds by providing outstanding educational programs. We offer programs ranging from international affairs to history, poetry, music, politics, biographies, and more. All upcoming events are at our Colfax location except the May 10th event, which will take place at Aspen Grove.

Founded by Spain as a mission in 1776, San Francisco became part of the United States just before the California Gold Rush. Created after World War II, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) played a pivotal role in fighting and ultimately winning the Cold War. Subsequently, NATO took on different roles in countries like Bosnia and Afghanistan. Recently, the role of NATO in Europe has been revisited in the midst of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Join Active Minds as we take a look at the triumphs and challenges of NATO and how it continues to adapt to the 21st century landscape.

Now, with the introduction of streaming services like Netflix, films are evolving once again. Join Active Minds as we roll out the red carpet and tell the story of movies.
