The first volume of the" Flower Lotus" trilogy, chronicles the childhood events that paved the way for a marriage full of abuse, manipulation, control and brainwashing. I will take readers on a journey through the various challenges I faced, including shame, guilt, anxiety, and codependency.

During the decades of my abusive marriage, my dread was far greater than my desperation, and my self-contempt and repudiation were greater than my self-love, creating the perfect toxic mix to bloom and allow my abuse. Despite the agony, humiliation, hopelessness, depression and suicidal thoughts, I carried on.

The baring of my soul feels awkward, however, whatever discomfort I feel is worth it. I hope the story of my ill-treatment and of my wounds can inspire others to approach parenthood and relationships from a different perspective to positively impact their children and loved ones' lives.
