Erik Stensland is a professional photographer based in Estes Park, Colorado. Since 2005 his primary focus has been photographing Rocky Mountain National Park. He has hiked every trail and has visited and photographed nearly every remote location in the park. He has authored numerous books including one of the primary hiking guides to the area, a 520 page book titled, Hiking Rocky Mountain National Park: The Essential Guide. As well as writing, he also sells fine art prints through his gallery in Estes Park. Erik can often be found on lonely trails at odd hours heading in the opposite direction of the crowds.
