Negative Space is about a teenage girl who trusted a guy she shouldn't have. This mistake effects her in more ways than one and her mom sends her to stay with family in England to recover. Negative Space shows that no matter what you get yourself into or how hopeless you may feel, there is always hope that things will get better. It shows different hardships that can come about in a teenagers life, and that to overcome those hardships you have to take control  and change your mindset. It is really relatable for teens and highly engaging (I finished it in two days)

— Maggie F., Thomas Jefferson High School

Sent off the grid after a social media catastrophe, seventeen-year-old Zoe Black tries to rebuild her life. NO ESCAPE Zoe Black is a seventeen-year-old on a mission: graduate from high school in Boulder, Colorado, as quickly as possible and take the Ivy League by storm. Then a compromising picture surfaces on the Internet-of her. Her life is over. Literally. Except, it's not, and Zoe soon finds herself banished to a remote corner of England, expected to recover from a suicide attempt. What she wants is to disappear, to hide from the world and members of the opposite sex in particular, but her pseudo-stepmother Danielle won't let her. Neither will an irrepressible young fisherman named Idris. His appearance brings Zoe's future into even brighter focus. There are negative spaces all around, but there are positive ones, too. The world isn't black and white at all. Life-and love-happens in all the shades between.
