ED VERE studied fine art at Camberwell College of Art in London. In addition to illustrating children's books, Ed is also a painter and is represented by galleries in London and Los Angeles. LENGTH & TOPIC OF PRESENTATION
Ed is completely flexible with presentation length, and he is happy to cut it down if necessary. 50-minute presentation, including a PowerPoint introducing the students to Max and his life in London and work as an illustrator, followed by readings of Max the Brave and Max at Night. The visit concludes with an interactive drawing demonstration with the students where they can follow along and draw their very own Max.
Computer, projector, and a mic. Ed will bring his PowerPoint on a flashdrive and his laptop as a back-up. Students will also need a sheet of paper and a writing utensil for the drawing demonstration. And, a bottle of water.
Tattered Cover will design an order form that the school should distribute in advance of the author visit, and again on the day of the event to all student attendees.
