Used Book Acquisitions at the Tattered Cover

Thank you for helping to make used books a terrific addition to the Tattered Cover Book Store.

Used books are now a permanent addition to the thousands of new and bargain books we've always carried at our stores! Each store now has a shelf of "New Arrivals" along with thousands more used books that are shelved alongside our regular stock on shelves throughout the store. All are distinguishable on the shelf by the hot pink label on their spines. Come in for some great buys and unexpected treasures!

Since all of our booksellers will be helping us sell books during the busy holiday season, our Used Book Acquisitions will be temporarily suspended as follows:

At the Colfax store Used Book Aquisitions will be temporarily suspended from December 16—December 26.

At the Historic LoDo and Highlands Ranch stores Used Book Aquisitions will be temporarily suspended from December 2—December 26

We have thousands of used books in stock for the holidays and will reopen our acquisitions desks shortly after Christmas. If you have any questions, you are welcome to call the Used Book voice mail at 303-322-1965 ext. 1280. Thank you for your understanding during this short hiatus.

Guidelines & Hours for Used Book Acquisitions

for trading your used books for credit at Tattered Cover are detailed below.

☛ Please read the guidelines for each store carefully:

Colfax: Our Used Book Acquisitions desk is open & staffed Mon-Fri: 9 am to 5 pm & Sat: 10 to 6 pm; we cannot accept drop-offs at any other time. Our limit is either two boxes or two bags of books per visit.

LoDo: Our Used Book Acquisitions desk is open & staffed Tues, Thurs & Fri: 10 am to 6 pm; we cannot accept drop-offs at any other time. Our limit is either two boxes or two bags of books per visit.

Highlands Ranch: There is no Used Book Acquisitions desk at Highlands Ranch, however you may drop off up to two boxes (or two bags) of books per visit anytime during store hours and our used book buyers will contact you, usually within a week, regarding what we will purchase.
