How Local Are You?

The Tattered Cover welcomes submissions of published books from local authors in the state of Colorado.  While we limit our submissions to Colorado authors to serve our community in the best way possible, we may consider submissions from the Rocky Mountain region, including Wyoming, New Mexico, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Utah, Arizona, and Kansas. 

On rare occasions, we may accept local author book submissions from authors living outside the state of Colorado or the Rocky Mountain region, only if the book's topic is particularly relevant to the Colorado community.  (Example: a journalist and former Colorado resident from Chicago writing about water consumption in the Colorado River watershed region may be strongly considered for sale at our locations.)  Books from outside the region will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must conform to the guidelines listed on the Local Authors Homepage on this website.
