Colfax Avenue: Evangelina Sosa and daughters Yvette and Veronica wanted a way to honor their grandmother’s memory and preserve their family’s recipes and stories for future generations. They started the Muy Bueno Cookbook blog in 2010 with this idea in mind, and quickly attracted thousands of fans and followers. Marquez-Sharpnack and photographer Jeanine Thurston will join us to offer delicious samples and sign the new cookbook Muy Bueno: Three Generations of Authentic Mexican Flavor (Hippocrene Books), which is filled with the same flavorful Mexican recipes, heartwarming family stories, and beautiful photography as the Muy Bueno blog.
