This month we’ll see the 1985 Agnès Varda classic Vagabond.
A young homeless woman (Sandrine Bonnaire) is found dead in a vineyard, and the rest of the film shows what people who encountered her in the last two weeks of her life thought of the interesting, sometimes antagonistic, and always vulnerable Mona. Written and directed by Agnès Varda, the woman who “invented” the French New Wave. (105 minutes)
