Starz Denver Film Fest Reception with Serge Bloch

Colfax Avenue: Serge Bloch’s work as an editorial illustrator appears frequently in The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, and Los Angeles Times, as well as Time and New York magazines. The renowned artist recently received a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators. His many children’s books include Sam & His Dad, You Are What You Eat and Other Mealtime Hazards, and  Butterflies in My Stomach and Other School Hazards. He lives in Paris with his wife and son, upon whom he modeled the young French comic book superhero SamSam, which French television has turned into an animated series. Following a presentation of a series of his animated shorts at the Starz Denver Film Fest (11:45 am), guests are invited to the Tattered Cover for a Q&A and reception with Serge Bloch.
