Historic LoDo: Kevin Copenhaver has been with the Denver Center Theatre Company for 19 seasons serving as Costume Crafts Director and a resident costume designer. He has designed costumes for numerous Denver Center productions including; A Christmas Carol, Dracula, and for the upcoming production of The Whale. His design challenge for The Whale is designing and constructing a body suit that will transform a 200 lb actor into the 600 lb lead character in the play. Bruce Sevy has directed such memorable Denver Center productions as A Prayer for Owen Meany, Doubt, All My Sons, Master Class, and A Christmas Carol. As Director of New Play Development, he oversees both the artistic and practical components of DCTC’s successful Colorado New Play Summit, including commissions from outstanding American playwrights.
