Black History Month Presentation with SETH - A Black Odyssey: Collected Poems

Historic LoDo: One of Colorado’s best known performance poets, SETH has collaborated with countless musicians, poets, actors, dancers and other performance artists in a never-ending quest to render poetry more entertaining, and thus more accessible, to general audiences. He was a member of the critically acclaimed performance art trio Jafrika, recognized by the Rocky Mountain News as “among Denver’s finest cultural offerings,” and his experimental short stories have appeared in numerous literary publications. He has been a member of Denver’s National Poetry Slam Team and currently performs with Art Compost & the Word Mechanics. In honor of Black History Month, SETH will perform poems from his new book A Black Odyssey: Collected Poems (Mercury Heartlink).
