Michael Brown - Deadly Indifference

Historic LoDo: Boulder, Colorado, consultant and radio talk show host Michael Brown was Undersecretary of Homeland Security in the administration of President George W. Bush. Brown will discuss and sign his new book Deadly Indifference: The Perfect (Political) Storm: Hurricane Katrina, the Bush White House, and Beyond ($24.95 Taylor Trade). In his book, Brown, who was infamously praised by President Bush for doing a “heckuva job” in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, offers his view of the response to one of the greatest natural disasters to occur in the United States.
