Historic LoDo: Mike Lupica, a syndicated sports columnist and the bestselling author of several young adult sports novels, including Travel Team, Heat, Miracle on 49th Street, and Summer Ball, will discuss and sign his new novel Million Dollar Throw ($17.99 Penguin). This event will start with a presentation by Lupica, which will be followed by the Football Throw Challenge—in which the first 200 ticketed kids, ages 8 to 15, can throw a football through a target for a chance to throw for the $1000 prize, courtesy of Penguin Young Readers Group.
