Tattered Cover Live Music with Sarah & Ernie Stires

Colfax Avenue: Raised in California in a musical household with father/composer Ernie Stires, Sarah (vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter for the band Carnelian) pairs up with brother Ernie (lead guitar), as the duo carry on a family tradition of performing an original brand of homespun magic.

Archaeology Institute of America Lecture: Post-Excavation Stewardship in Colorado
Start: 2:00 pm

Historic LoDo: James Stratis, Preservation Manager for the Colorado Historical Society, Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, answers the important question: What happens after the digging is done? Stratis’ presentation will focus on CRM, the “cultural resource management” of post-excavation archaeological sites to include conservation and the development of educational parks. He will cite case studies from both Minoan and Anasazi sites.
