About the Author

Roger Foley is an award-winning photographer specializing in landscape architecture and garden design. His photography has received twelve awards from the Garden Writers' Association. He is the photographer of nine garden books, and has contributed to nearly a hundred more.

A photographer for more than thirty years, Foley's work has earned him an international reputation. His fine art prints of winter garden landscapes have been on view at the U. S. Botanic Garden. He also lectures and gives workshops on photography. He lives in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife, Darcy Trick.
