Inspector Alan Banks is investigating the murder of a freelance music journalist who was working on a feature about the Mad Hatters for "MOJO" magazine. Aging rock superstars, the Mad Hatters have once again been brushed by tragedy. At a huge outdoor rock festival in Yorkshire in 1969, a young woman was brutally murdered and she seemed to have ties to the Mad Hatters. Banks finds he has to delve into the past to find out exactly what hornet's nest the journalist inadvertently stirred up.
About the Author
Peter Robinson's award-winning novels have been named a Best-Book-of-the-Year by "Publishers Weekly", a Notable Book by the "New York Times", and a Page-Turner-of-the-Week by "People" magazine. Robinson was born and raised in Yorkshire, but has lived in North America for nearly twenty-five years. He now divides his time between North America and the U.K.
Narrator Ron Keith, a native of England, graduated from the University of Manchester. He worked in architecture, the British Tourist Authority, and his own brokerage company before beginning an acting career. He has appeared in the Broadway touring production of Amadeus, in Off-Broadway productions including Hedda Gabler, Da, and Candida, and in many regional stage productions. Television appearances include roles in One Life to Live and As the World Turns.
